Living in Two Homes: How you can help
Children in a divorced family often feel that they’ve lost the only stable element in their lives - their family unit. Not only are they suffering from the emotional trauma of divorce, they are lost somewhere between two homes, not exactly sure where they will be from day to day. They want to know when they will be with Mom or Dad again.
I designed this calendar to give my own young children something that would help them know what was going on from day to day. It's something that they can see, something that they can refer to again and again, something that's easy to follow - and something that's fun too.
For children going through a divorce, the Kids In Divorce (K.I.D.) Calendar is an aid that will help them cope with their challenging circumstances. The colorful pictures and the friendly, familiar characters make this calendar more approachable for children.
